Thanksgiving did not start off well. We all overslept. Thomas was going for his next tantrum record. He refused to nap...so on and blah blah.
We got over it pretty quickly. The Nunez family was hosting Thanksgiving this year. I loved going somewhere else for the holiday this year. So nice to not have to stress about it. I made my stuffed tomatoes that I make every year and I'll admit it pretty much made my day that everyone loved them.
We had a great time, just chatting and eating. Thomas had a ball playing near the other kids. He is still a baby to them so he's "stupid" or "gross". Thankfully T was oblivious to that.
See? In the same room... but not quite involved, lol. He's a weird child.
This is Julia, she and her husband are wonderful hosts and have always made us feel welcome from the first time they invited us over.
She also always seems to be the one willing to take a family picture of us.
I'm thankful for so many things this year, but the most important thing is that I've learned (finally) that I can choose to be happy. We may have had a bad morning but we got in the car and I said "I'm not going to be pissy over there" and I wasn't, and I had a damn good time.

Wow....you are really good Angel....it took me so many more years than you to realize.....you absolutely have a choice....it is YOUR choice.... to be happy or to be sad...mad...depressed...excited...whatever....so proud of you....xoxo...miss you!!!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!
