Choice #2

So option 2 is in a better location. The town of Yomitan is halfway between the amenities of base, and Josh's work. So I think we're going to continue looking in this area. This one has a dishwasher!!! Yay! It also has an elevator, covered parking, storage and huge closets (which are pretty rare here) and the view....well that's pretty damn amazing too.

The agent showed me a picture she had on her digital camera of a sunny day, and that water is so blue when the sun is out! It's also centrally located between two capes. One is good for swimming, and the other for scuba diving. That makes Josh happy. It also has fiber optic internet...whatever that means. But we really like the internet.

She showed me another option, but it had all Japanese appliances and I need my American stove. If I can't fit a frozen pizza in it then how am I going to make a Thanksgiving dinner?

The search continues....

Well not really, it's on pause tomorrow because we're having our newcomer's brief. I need to go study the road signs because I'm not sure if I have to take my license test tomorrow or not.

  1. reading your posts is like watching an episode of "House Hunters International" :) I don't know which one I'd pick, but I'd definitely hold out for a real stove/oven! It looks like a beautiful place to live, whichever house you choose!
