But it probably won't be.
After months of preparation we're finally on our way (almost). There are still things left undone, and we aren't sure if our sponsor will actually be at the airport to pick us up in Okinawa....but we'll figure it out. I figure if we all arrive safely that's all that matters. I must admit I'm pretty impressed with my attitude at the moment. I've been doing a lot of breathing and counting to ten. Despite the cheese factor it's actually working.
We're staying at the Hyatt in the Orlando airport. Do you think anyone would mind if I just stayed here for a year or two???
There's basically a mall in the lobby, including a Lush store and a Disney store. Thomas and I both get to play. There is an amazing gym, so Josh is happy too.
We walked in the room and I had to put in an effort to not stand there openmouthed. I'm a holiday inn kinda girl...this ain't no holiday inn. It smells good, like really good. It's not that overpowering, commercial grade freshener smell either.
It's got a balcony, a flat screen, an Ihome dock. A marble bathroom, and bellhops willing to bring our luggage to to the ticket counter in the morning. Suh-weet! The furniture and linens are modern....this is the life. If only for one night. It's only $100 dollars too...yay for government rate!
Thomas has a milk and a juice box. One in each hand. He's living in the lap of luxury too, lol. I took pictures but will have to wait to post them, although I doubt anyone will care about what our hotel looks like.
This is going to be an epic adventure. And as long as we all get through it alive...it's all good.
So excited for you, Angel! Have a safe trip. I hope Thomas does OK on the long flight!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting! I'm going to live vicariously through your travels, since I don't foresee going any father than my own backyard any time soon LOL
